It was calling for rain the day of this session and I was checking the weather every 5 minutes… it looked like we were in the clear and I’m so glad we didn’t reschedule. It ended up being such a beautiful day… the weather can be so tricky to navigate sometimes! This family was so kind and special… both the parents are educators and I think that in itself says so much about a persons heart sometimes, doesn’t it? Their kids were a delight and were up for whatever I asked of them which made this session so fun for me! Allie wants to be a photographer herself someday which makes me so excited and I would’ve hung out with her all day if I could have! They hadn’t had any family photos taken in a few years and I always love to hear that from families that I get to work with. It is such an honor for me to help them change that fact! I hope I give them something to look back on and treasure for years and years. And I realize it can take a bit of bravery to schedule something like this when it’s out of your comfort zone! But goodness, I am so glad I got the chance to meet them and capture their beautiful family!
I also have to mention some ducks… these guys hung around so close to us as we were wrapping up our session! I think they wanted to be sure they were included in some photos! It was hilarious when one of the ducks started chasing them. Luckily these guys are good sports and we all got such a good laugh over those things!
