I met Emily through a number of mutual friends. We both got married around the same time and also got pregnant around the same time and so we were kind of destined to meet and become friends. When we both had newborns, Chris was deployed so Emily was in Lexington and we both were trying to occupy our days with a new little one. We would get together almost daily and talk about all of the adventures that having a newborn brings. It was wonderful and I’m thankful to have Emily as such a close friend today – and it is crazy to think those newborns are now three! She is such an amazing mother and challenges me in different ways every time I see her. And this family as a whole has taught me so much about perseverance and it was through Chris’s two deployments that I grew such a deep respect for those that serve our country and the real sacrifice they pay in order to do so. This family is just amazing and we’re blessed to know them. I am so excited for their family to all be together and even more excited for them as they prepare to meet Amelia’s new baby sister! Thanks for the opportunity to capture these images, Hurst family! What an honor it was!
I just would like to say you are an amazing photographer to say the least. But the greatest part of all these pictures is this is my oldest son Chris and his lovely wife Emily and my granddaughter Amelia. I have never met Amelia yet but I am certain that one day I will and also meet her wonderful sister to come. I sure miss the family and I hope and pray that one day we can all come together and share many more pictures of all of our family.
Thank you so much for being such a great friend to my son and your friend. I would like to ask you about getting one of these photos so I may have it framed..will I be able to do that? Thanks for your time Melissa. Please feel free to e-mail me with the options to buy some photos.
Thank you,
Tammi Sanders, Chris’s mother
